RESOLUTION BAPTA: 2009-003

WHEREAS, the BAPTA President Rene Laparan has raised before the general membership of the non-existence of the Constitution and By-Laws of the association;

WHEREAS, the President further expressed concerned on the hardship to govern the group and possible result to a quandary situation without any rules and regulations to follow:

NOW THEREFORE, ON MOTION BY Mrs. Leah Loro and duly seconded by Mrs. Gina Dalida, the body approved with no objection whatsoever, to give the President the authority to create and appoint the Committee to draft the Constitution and By-Laws of the association;

BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that BA-PPTA Alex Gerasmio was appointed as the Chairman; and Pastor Ernie Binay, Pastor Romy Loro, Mr. Ray Madriaga and BA-PPTA Vice President Rene Alacapa as members of the Committee;

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HERBY RESOLVED, that the Committee is task to submit the draft before the BAPTA 1^st Fellowship on August 29, 2009 for ratification by the general membership.

RESOLUTION BAPTA: 2009-002

WHEREAS, the Brooks Academy Parents and Teachers Association has created three (3) teams to participate in its various programmed competitions for the school year 200-2010;

WHEREAS, the objectives of the programmed activities were to create friendly competition, promote camaraderie from among its members, and revival of their talents and skills in the fields of singing, dancing, and communication;

WHEREAS, the BAPTA with its fresh existence has no available funds to finance its said activities especially on the giving of awards and other incidental expenses;

WHERAS, the present BAPTA Officers thru the project program of the President, the members discussed the above concerned before the general membership during its 1^st Meeting last June 20, 2009;

NOW THEREFORE, ON MOTION BY BAPTA Treasurer Janet Gerasmio and duly seconded by BAPTA Vice President Rose Madriaga, the body approved with no objection whatsoever, that every couple-member will give P300.00 as the yearly Membership Fee to be paid in lump sum on or before the BAPTA 1st Fellowship on August 29, 2009;

BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that every Couple-member and Teachers of Brooks Academy Parents and Teachers Association (BAPTA) SY 2009-2010 will help defray the cost of the Awards and other Incidental Expenses of the association.

RESOLUTION BAPTA: 2009-001

WHEREAS, the administration of Books Academy has anticipated the possible increase of enrollees for the school year 2009-2010 and has acknowledged of its limited space to accommodate its growing population. Thus, planned to build an extension facility at the other side available space of the school premises;

WHEREAS, the school administration through the help of the members of the Temple Bible Baptist Church; the Parents and Teachers Association; and all the students; has initiated and raised funds to defray the cost of its construction through a show – a Christmas Cantata last December 20, 2008;

WHEREAS, the funds raised during the said Christmas Cantata was still insufficient to complete the necessary facilities of the classroom area especially the provision of an Air Conditioner;

WHERAS, the present BAPTA Officers thru the project program of the President, the members discussed the above concerned initiative before the general membership during its 1^st Meeting last June 20, 2009;

NOW THEREFORE, ON MOTION BY BAPTA Vice President Ray Madriaga and unanimously seconded by the members present, the body approved to donate and give the school one (1) Air Conditioner amounting to P30,000.00;

FURTHERMORE, the above-mentioned amount will be raised and paid by every couple-member in ten (10) equal-month installments starting June, 2009 to March, 2010 in the amount of P200.00 per month or a total of P2,000.00;

BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Brooks Academy Parents and Teachers Association (BAPTA) SY 2009-2010 will donate and provide one (1) Air Conditioner for the new office/classroom.
